This beautiful old Victorian home next to Fresh Pond in Boston was struck by lightning and caught fire.  By the time the fire department hosed it down, it was a complete wreck with a 3' by 3' hole in the slate roof caused by the lightning bolt. This was a ground up restoration project. We installed new slate roof, walls, floors, and bathrooms. The HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, all had to be replaced.
