Hanover, MA.

 

This project in Hanover, MA. was an insurance restoration project. A large tree in the back yard fell onto the roof causing considerable damage.

 

The back deck was unfinished and built incorrectly by the previous contractor. The treads were way too small and the stair pitch was too steep.  It did not meet Massachusetts building code requirements. I had to remove it, build a landing and rebuild, stringers, stairs and railings.

 

Betterments to the property included: two new dormers and four new windows. We moved and sound-insulated all interior walls, installed high intensity LED recessed lighting, new poplar baseboards, door and window trim, red oak flooring, two new ceiling fans, new baseboard heating covers, western cedar siding, new Azek exterior trim and more.
